Time for Athens Bar Show!

It’s November and that means The Athens Bar Show. Two days of show and a week of fun in bars all over Athens. Join us for the latest edition!

Since its inception in 2010, the Athens Bar Show is on tap again on November 8 and 9th, a celebration of the industry of bartending, hospitality, catering and spirits.

The location is the same: Technopolis, the ex Gas Works of Athens – an eclectic urban indoor/outdoor space with plenty of room for the thousands of visitors expected.

This professionals-only fair comes at a perfect time, when bars are in a slower, pre-Christmas period, and everyone is eager to catch some of the warmer Greek weather before winter hits.

In the Technopolis’s Halls, education is in the spotlight. Speakers from the industry include Simone Caporale, Monica Berg, Ago Perrone, Simon Ford, Giacomo Giannotti, David Wondrich, Jesse Estes, Ger Buckley, Roberto Bava, Danil Nevsky, Manny Hinojosa, Lorenzo Antinori, Kelsey Ramage, Giorgio Bargiani and personalities from the Greek bartending scene like Giannis Miliotis, Mary Talaiporou and many others.

Athens Bar Week

The best bars in the world are taking over the city. The Athens Bar Show experience promotes Athens Bar Week. From Monday (7/11) to Thursday (10/11) a host of exciting and dynamic events will be set throughout the Greek capitol. The beauty of this event is that it is open to the general public, and bartenders from around the world can mingle with local bar enthusiasts. What’s New for 2022

Tomas Estes’ Agave Embassy

A beloved figure in the Bar Community and the world of Agave Spirits, Tomas Estes, recently passed away. He was one of the biggest supporters of the Greek bar community and loved both Greece and the Athens Bar Show. To honor the memory of the man who changed the image of tequila and agave spirits around the world, starting this year and every year from now on, the Athens Bar Show will dedicate a specially designed exhibition area to tequila and agave spirits. This space will be named, in his honor, the Tomas Estes’ Agave Embassy, and will be an agave distillate tasting and education space, starring tequila. The host is Nikos Zissis, creator and owner of the first Agave Spirits Bar in Greece, Dos Agaves. On the 1st floor, on the 2nd day, visitors can attend tastings, seminars and presentations about tequila and agave spirits.

ABS P.U.B - Premium Ultra premium Brands Business Lounge

(P.U.B. = Premium UltraPremium Brands) This is an idea that has been incubating for a few years, and is now a reality for this edition of the show. It is a specially designed showroom dedicated exclusively to premium and ultra premium products. The ABS P.U.B. will be a truly special experience, with strictly limited daily entries, only for those who are true connoisseurs of this unique category of products. Here, visitors can interact directly with creators of premium products, ask questions, discuss without distractions and, of course, taste the special spirits.

The ABS Closing Party

On Thursday night, November 10th, there will be a big closing party at Tecnopolis and tickets are available to professionals as well as the general public. Some of the best bars from all over Greece, but also from Mediterranean and European countries, will serve unique signature cocktails, which will be enjoyed by all the guests, in the company of all those who participated in this two-day event. Great party music from a well-known radio station and its producers, will create the well-known festive atmosphere of the Athens Bar Show.
