Venice Cocktail Week returns to Venice. The third edition of the event conceived and directed by Paola Mencarelli with the patronage of the City of Venice and the support of Vela will be held in the Venice from Monday 23 to Sunday 29 October 2023.
"Once again this year Venice Cocktail Week is turning the spotlight on the excellence of the lagoon," says Paola Mencarelli. " Born to spread the culture of conscious and responsible drinking, VCW is a kermesse that allows neophytes, enthusiasts, and professionals to meet and discuss current and future trends in the world of mixology. A unique project where a different idea of drinking is developed."

Venice Cocktail Week 2023 follows the pattern of previous years and its sister initiatives, Florence Cocktail Week and Cortina Cocktail Weekend. Modelled on the unique nature of the host city, the festival of quality mixed drinks presents a calendar rich in content and events with guests from Italy and around the world.
The third edition of the event celebrates the best cocktail bars in Venice, divided into Hotel Bars and Cocktail Bars, and their bartenders, who will give free reign to their creativity, demonstrating their talent and in a Cocktail List created aespecially for the entire VCW23 week.
The VCW23 cocktail list of each cocktail bar will feature 3 exclusive drinks:
SIGNATURE COCKTAIL, a VCW23 freely created drink representative of the cocktail bar.
RIESCO A BERE ITALIANO, a drink dedicated to Made in Italy with products from exclusively Italian companies participating in the initiative RiEsco a Bere Italiano.
APERITIVO DI MEZZOGIORNO, a fresh, light drink designed for the midday aperitif, a great Venetian tradition.
During the day, educational moments dedicated to the description of products, mixing techniques and bar formats, masterclasses, product and book presentations, cultural meetings, tastings and a large space dedicated to entertainment, both daytime and evening. All the events are ts created especially for VCW23, from Midday Aperitifs to Guest Shifts, including brunches and meetings with guests selected among the best in the world.
Appointments also at Event Partner venues: Hotel Bar Partners and Cocktail Bar Partners that do not present the VCW23 Cocktail List but will host cultural and recreational events. Sharlafied is an event partner for the third consecutive year.

All VCW events are open to the public. For the educational part, access is free of charge and by booking, while events within the participating venues are by invitation or payment.
Dining With The Spirits
For this third edition of Venice Cocktail Week, Dining With The Spirits,also returns, conceived by Paola Mencarelli to create a synergy between the worlds of mixology and cuisine. Born in Florence during Florence Cocktail Week, DWS involves the restaurants of Venice that, for the entire VCW23 week or for a single evening, propose their interpretation of spirits in the kitchen, using them as ingredients in their dishes, in a single dish or in an entire menu. But also with interesting pairings, with cocktails or straight spirits.
